Rember last months news on the "organic- ceramic" clutch plates?
As much as anything, it was about getting the balance right. The correct share of long life in a clutch whiel maintaing the feel and comfort of the ride.
Getting it right at JTB Spares means having the right mix of new and exchange/reconditioned stock.
We stock reconditioned gearboxes, differentials, power steering units etc , as the new price on these items can be prohibitively expensive to replace. It makes sense to do this.
We stock brand new starter motors, alternators, treadal [foot] valves etc becuase we can supply these items new at attractive to replace prices. We endeavour to get the balance right, not just on the type of stock we carry, but in our pricing structure as well.
Housewives will remember the Tv show "The Price Is Right" , but our customers remember that at JTB Spares "The Price Is Right". Perhaps Channel 9 & Larry Emdur should pay us a commision for this?
